Hi, I’m Stephanie Hutchinson, a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in sociology, from Kennesaw State University, where I built a strong foundation in understanding human behavior and social systems.
My passion is helping people navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity. I have supported individuals and groups dealing with grief, marriage issues, and interpersonal struggles. I am particularly interested in helping clients through depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, identity exploration, and career transitions.
In my counseling practice, I combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered approaches. I structure sessions to be solution-focused and collaborative, guiding clients toward strategies that feel genuine and effective for them. My aim is to create a safe, supportive space where people can explore, heal, and grow.
