Hi, I’m Steven Fruitticher, a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry, with a minor in Biblical Studies, from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding faith, purpose, and the human experience.
My passion is helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, clarity, and practical support. I am especially passionate about working with couples and marriages, as well as supporting men and fathers as they grow in their roles, relationships, and emotional well-being.
In my counseling practice, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused approaches. I work collaboratively with clients to identify goals, build on strengths, and develop strategies that are meaningful and effective for them. My aim is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel understood, empowered, and encouraged to grow.
